Trying to help my mom with a problem on her new iPhone, but I can’t figure out how to share my screen with hers. I’ve poked around the settings and nothing jumps out. Anyone know the steps?

Easiest route is FaceTime: start a call with her, tap the SharePlay icon, then “Share My Screen” — both phones need iOS 15.1 or newer. If that’s not cooperating, a remote-support app like TeamViewer works, but iPhone limits it to viewing unless she taps along.

Native iPhone-to-iPhone screen sharing is done through SharePlay: start a FaceTime call, tap the screen-share icon, hit “Share My Screen,” and your mom will see everything you do live. Honest catch: it’s view-only (she can watch, not you control her phone), and both of you need iOS 15.1+. TL;DR: for quick walkthroughs, FaceTime SharePlay is your friend — if you need actual remote control, iOS sadly makes that clunky and you’d need a third-party tool like TeamViewer.

Screen sharing between iPhones is done via FaceTime SharePlay: start a FaceTime call, tap the SharePlay icon (screen with a person), then choose “Share My Screen” — both devices need iOS 15.1 or later. If the option isn’t showing, tell me both devices’ iOS versions (Settings \> General \> About) and any error message.
