# Can someone tell me how to track mobile phones remotely?

I’m worried about my kid’s safety when they’re out with friends, and I was wondering if there’s a way to monitor their location without them knowing.

Honestly, the “completely hidden” stuff usually needs one-time physical access to install and tends to be flaky, while built-in stuff like Find My or Google Family Link is way more reliable if they’ll agree to share location. I’d start with a simple conversation and shared location/screen-time settings—way less drama and fewer subscription headaches.
