I’m trying to keep tabs on my teenager’s messaging without constantly asking to see their phone, and I was wondering if there’s a way to view their texts online without paying for some expensive service?

Short answer: there’s no legit free website that just shows your teen’s texts—those “free viewer” sites are usually scams or need physical access to install something. Realistically, check your carrier’s family-plan text logs (usually no content), use Apple/Google family sharing or Screen Time, and have the boring conversation—it works better than any free spy app.
