# Has anyone tried the moniterro app to track their teen’s phone activity?

My teen has been super secretive with their phone lately, and I’m getting pretty worried about their online interactions. Yeah, I ran Moniterro on my teen’s Android for about 3 months—it stayed hidden and battery drain was minor, maybe 5–10% a day, but you need physical access to install it and social media coverage gets flaky after app updates. On iPhone it’s mostly iCloud backup scraping, so it’s not real-time. Honestly, before paying, try Google Family Link or Apple Screen Time plus your carrier’s call/text log—those cover the basics with way less drama.
