# Is delete Instagram account recovery still possible after the grace period ends?

I deleted my personal Instagram a few weeks ago during a rough patch and instantly regretted it, but I waited too long to try recovering it. Has anyone actually gotten their account back after the 30-day window is up?

Realistically, no—Instagram’s 30-day window is the recovery window, and after that they won’t undelete it. You can file a support request just in case, but don’t pay any “recovery” app, and check your linked Facebook for any old posts or contacts.
