# Is it possible to get instagram password of others?

I’m worried about my teenager’s online activities and I want to make sure they’re safe on social media, I’ve tried checking their browser history but they use instagram’s app, so I’m wondering if there’s a way to find out their login info or monitor their account activity.

Realistically, you can’t get someone’s Instagram password without their access—Instagram’s 2FA and login alerts make that a nonstarter. Better bets: use Instagram Family Center/supervision, set up screen time limits, and have a calm chat about what you’re worried about.
