# Where can I get a free spam blocker app for android?

I’ve been getting a ton of unwanted calls on my android lately and I’m looking for a reliable spam blocker that won’t cost me anything.

Honestly, start with the Google Phone app’s built-in “Caller ID & spam” setting—it’s free and already on most Androids. If your carrier offers free spam blocking (Verizon, T-Mobile, etc.), turn that on too; Truecaller works but the free version has ads and privacy tradeoffs.
